Overview

Simple Gym Tracker is built by Simple Apps Pty Ltd. We believe your personal data is yours. This app was designed from the ground up to collect as little data as possible and to keep what it does collect entirely under your control.

What We Collect

Account information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier from Apple that allows the app to recognise your account. We do not receive your name or email address unless you choose to share it. We do not store this identifier on any server — it exists only on your device and in your personal iCloud account if you have iCloud sync enabled.

Workout data: All workout data you enter is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to enable iCloud sync.

iCloud sync: If you enable iCloud sync, your workout data is synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. Simple Apps Pty Ltd has no access to your iCloud data at any time.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage analytics, crash reports, health or biometric data beyond what you manually enter, or any data for advertising purposes.

Third Parties

Simple Gym Tracker does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not share your data with any third party for any purpose.

The only third-party service involved is Apple's iCloud, and only if you choose to enable sync.

Personal Trainer Mode

If you use Personal Trainer Mode to track clients, all client data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from any clients whose data you enter into the app.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time:

Settings → Clear All Data

This permanently removes all data from your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletion propagates to iCloud. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data automatically.

Children

Simple Gym Tracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
